Queens Cross Housing Association has helped tenants secure more than £2 million in additional income over the past year through its financial wellbeing service.
The service supports tenants in accessing the Government benefits they are entitled to, while also providing advice on budgeting, debt management and energy costs to help maximise household income.
Between 2025 and 2026, the financial wellbeing team secured £2.05 million for tenants, providing a significant financial boost at a time when many households continue to face rising living costs.
Alongside financial support, the team also offers wellbeing assistance, providing reassurance and compassionate guidance to tenants experiencing poor health, job loss or financial pressures.
The achievement comes as Queens Cross Housing Association marks its 50th anniversary, celebrating five decades since it was established in north-west Glasgow in 1976.
Heather Anderson, Director of Neighbourhood Services, said: "The current economic climate and high cost of living is impacting everyone. Having this vital service available means we can help our tenants maximise their income and support tenancy sustainment.
"It also benefits our wider community by increasing the money available to spend, boosting the local economy.
"This significant achievement contributes to our longstanding vision of providing excellent housing in vibrant communities."
