Night-time temporary traffic lights are to be in place on the A702 between Hillend and Nine Mile Burn for four weeks as Transport Scotland's operating company, BEAR Scotland, carries out drainage investigation works.
Two-way signals will run from 19:30 to 05:30 on Monday to Friday nights between 20 July and 14 August.
Tommy Deans, BEAR Scotland's Southeast Network Manager, said: "These investigation works will enhance drainage on this stretch of the A702, improving safety for motorists using the trunk road.
"This phase of the works requires night-time temporary traffic lights to allow our operatives to carry out the work safely.
"We thank road users and local communities for their understanding."
