All-Energy 2026 is just days away from opening in Glasgow, where delegates will convene at the SEC for two days of debate, dealmaking and knowledge-sharing. The event begins with a keynote at the opening plenary from Michael Shanks MP, Minister of State for Energy at the Department of Energy Security and Net Zero, who will outline how the UK Government intends to go further and faster on energy security. On day two, Chris Stark CBE, Head of the UK's Mission for Clean Power, will deliver a keynote address.
Organised by RX, this year's edition introduces a streamlined conference programme shaped for the first time by a Strategic Summit committee. The group comprises 29 senior figures, among them Iain Sinclair, Executive Director at GES Holding; Morag Watson, Director of Onshore at Scottish Renewables; Philippa Parmiter, CEO at NECCUS; and Clare Foster, Head of Clean Energy at Shepherd and Wedderburn, alongside representatives from Siemens Energy, EDF, BEAMA, Hitachi Energy, Crown Estate and SSEN-Transmission.
Anam Khan, All-Energy Event Manager at RX Global said: "It is a pivotal time for the renewable energy sector and the need to collaborate more closely with stakeholders and policymakers has never been more important. The Energy Minister's attendance creates a valuable opportunity for attendees to hear directly from government on progress and latest policy impacts. His attendance will be complemented by our refreshed conference which will cover the most pressing topics affecting the low carbon energy market today."
Across the two days, the conference and exhibition will examine investment and finance, transmission reform, skills and workforce, the supply chain and the circular economy, with open plenaries on both days. Day one features sessions on de-risking the energy transition, workforce planning, the role of test and demonstration, and why storage is essential to deliver clean power in Great Britain.
Day two will explore low-carbon hydrogen, accelerating onshore wind deployment, the role of oil and gas in renewable delivery, and transport decarbonisation.
On the show floor, new and expanded content will enhance the visitor experience. A Solar and Storage theatre debuts this year, joining six established theatres: Future Grid; Built Environment and Community Energy; Future Talent; Hydrogen; Innovation; and Offshore and Onshore Wind and Marine Energy.
More than 300 exhibitors are expected, with major global brands and UK players including Hitachi Energy, SSEN, Schneider Electric, Enercon and Nordex confirmed.
The programme also prioritises constructive dialogue and partnership, with curated roundtables and workshops designed for peer-to-peer learning. These focused, interactive discussions will convene key stakeholders around shared challenges and opportunities, encouraging knowledge exchange, practical insights and collaborative problem-solving in an outcomes-driven format.
As the energy transition accelerates, the event will place particular emphasis on tackling the sector's skills gap, supporting workforce development and reskilling. A dedicated programme will be underpinned by a new Skills and STEM initiative, supported by OPITO.
Stephen Marcos Jones, CEO of OPITO, said: "The energy sector is undergoing a profound transformation, driven by a more diverse, lower-carbon energy mix and rapid technological advancement. Equipping the next generation with the skills, knowledge and confidence to navigate this change is critical to the future success of our industry.
"OPITO's involvement in All-Energy and the Skills and STEM programme reflects our long-standing commitment to developing the future energy workforce and inspiring young people to explore the breadth of careers across STEM fields.
"By connecting students with real world industry insight through innovative, relatable and hands on experiences, we can help them better understand how energy systems work, see where they can play a role, and equip them with the skills needed to deliver a safe, resilient and low carbon energy future."
A new Future Talent Hub will unite the Future Talent Theatre and Skills Zone, inspiring the next generation of professionals and supporting those transitioning into the sector. Through talks and hands-on learning, attendees can explore career routes, skills development and training across clean power and low-carbon energy, with diversity highlighted as central to a sustainable future.
Marking its 25th anniversary and headline sponsored by Shepherd and Wedderburn, this year's show will also host a special Giant Networking Evening. The celebration aims to bring visitors and exhibitors together in an informal setting to connect, exchange ideas and forge lasting professional relationships, while reflecting on All-Energy's evolution into a cornerstone event for the UK's clean energy community.
