Construction firm, GRAHAM, has said that it is "on schedule" to deliver a new luxury living development in Glasgow, a highly visible symbol of the regeneration of Glasgow's Merchant City.
The new development has been clad with an "oxide glazed” terracotta, that appears to change colour depending on the direction of light, which GRAHAM has said "as well as looking amazing is also extremely practical as it's longer-lasting and easier to maintain than some other finishes".
From a safety perspective the terracotta rainscreen cladding is both A1 Non-Combustible and a CWCT TN75/76 Fully Tested System.
The joint venture between Drum Property Group and Stamford Property Investments agreed a deal with Legal & General Investment Management Real Assets to bring the apartment complex which opens onto Glasgow's historic Trongate.
Residents will enjoy a communal landscaped courtyard at the first-floor level, while a variety of roof terraces will provide spectacular views across the city.
The 346 apartments will help meet tenant demand for city centre housing that is close to large employers and represents a significant step forward in the regeneration of what was formerly one of Glasgow's most prominent gap sites.
