A £50 million regeneration scheme in Glasgow has continued to secure industry recognition with its latest award nomination.
The multi-award-winning Anderston Regeneration has been shortlisted at the prestigious Civic Trust Awards.
The Civic Trust Awards scheme was established in 1959 to recognise outstanding architecture, planning and design in the built environment. As the longest standing built environment awards scheme in Europe, since 1959, more than 7000 projects have been rewarded and the scheme has continued in its objective to recognise projects that have made a positive contribution to the local communities they serve.
This nomination focuses on the final phase of the £50m regeneration, Phase 4 & 5, which represents the culmination of nearly 10 years of construction and a combined delivery of 542 mixed-tenure homes on behalf of Sanctuary Group.
Consisting of 206 flats, Phase 4 & 5 has changed the face of St Vincent Street in Glasgow, offering high-quality, energy-efficient homes and creating a new link to the west of the city.
Project architect Collective Architecture has been named as the nominee for the project.
