BAM Construction have started worked on a new £11 million upgrade to Stobhill Hospital in Glasgow, which will see improvements to mental health services.
Working in partnership with Hub West Scotland, on behalf of NHSGCC, BAM Construction will deliver brand new acute mental health wards dedicated to adult in-patient care as well as functional health issues.
Arc-Tech (Scotland) Ltd are assisting with the delivery and are providing a full turnkey Mechanical and Electrical Services package, from digital engineering through to the installation consisting of all plumbing, heating, ventilation and sprinklers as well as lighting, fire, security, data and power systems.
The firm will also utilise an innovative prefabricated solution to create corridor and plantroom service modules.
Arc-Tech has grown to become one of Scotland's best Building Services providers and returns to the Health sector having recently completed works with NHS Forth Valley.

As a direct result of the contract, BAM Construction has donated two Portakabins to the Springburn Park Men's Shed, a charity that supports and resources for men of all ages suffering from depression and loneliness. In offering additional support, Arc-Tech provided electrical services to help provide power.
John continued: "It is important to give back to community and charity organisations. The Springburn Park Men's Shed is a fantastic initiative and we more than happy to provide our support."
