Dundee City Council is to host a drop-in session next week discussing one of the city's economic development areas.
Options for the Blackness General Economic Development Area (GEDA) will be outlined by planners.
The plans will contribute to the wider Main Issues Report consultation, which discusses key planning issues and informs the preparation of the next Local Development Plan.
Will Dawson, Convener of Dundee City Council's City Development Committee, said: "As part of the process that will shape the next Dundee Local Development Plan we want businesses, land owners, residents and other stakeholders to share their views with us on the ideas and options for improving the potential of the Blackness General Economic Development Area.
"The consultation process will consider a planning policy approach aimed at bringing vacant, derelict or underused land and buildings back into productive use, as well as improving employment opportunities and productivity.
"It also highlights the potential to create a more vibrant and high quality place by improving the quality of the built environment; strengthening the existing character and identity; increasing connectivity; and making the area more attractive, safe and welcoming."
The Blackness GEDA drop-in event will take place at Verdant Works from 12pm to 7pm on Wednesday, 27 January.
