Scottish Water has advised Paisley motorists additional traffic management will be in place as it continues to progress with waste water infrastructure updates.
New Sneddon Street will be closed for eight weeks from 5 May while developers continue to upsize the waste water pipework of the street.
Contractors will also develop a screened Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) system.
The £250 million investment in infrastructure upgrades will improve water quality and the natural environment of the River Clyde and its tributaries.
This will alleviate sewer flooding and deal with the effects of increased rainfall and climate change.
Scottish Waters Regional Communities Team Manager, Mark Maclarin, said: "Scottish Water's investment in the area will deliver major environmental benefits for years to come."
