SHE Transmission has said there is still time for residents in Argyll to submit their thoughts regarding plans to upgrade and replace an overhead line in the area.
The work would focus on the overhead line that runs from Inveraray to Crossaig, via Port Ann.
Last week, a number of consultation events were held to allow residents to hear about the proposals and share their views.
In a statement, SHE Transmission has said the work is necessary due to a number of renewable energy projects on the Kintyre Peninsula and throughout Argyll itself which need to be connected to the transmission network.
Jean Lewis, Project Manager, SHE Transmission, explained: "Although the project is in the very early stages, we know how important it is to gain the feedback of those living in the area.
"We have undertaken a detailed assessment to identify and assess possible routes capable of accommodating the proposed new overhead line based on what will prove to be the least disruptive to the people living and working in the area as well as the importance of the impact on the environment, land use and existing infrastructure."
Samantha O'Connor, Communications Manager, SHE Transmission, added: "We would like to thank everyone who took the time to come along to the events last week. We were delighted with the positive responses received and will make sure we continue to provide updates about what we are doing."
