The Helix parkland project has been named the Best Environment Project at this year's National Lottery Awards.
The Lottery contributed some £25m towards the £41m project which is located in Falkirk and includes the giant Kelpies statues.
The ambitious project has seen 300 hectares of land transformed in Falkirk, with pathways improved, woodlands and a canal extension.
Andrew Thin, Chairman of Scottish Canals, said since the opening of the Helix project in 2013, it has already had a significant impact on the local area.
He explained: "The landscape between Falkirk and Grangemouth has been completely transformed by this project – we now have an incredible green space for everyone to use and enjoy.
"The community's response to this project has been overwhelmingly positive – it's due to that support that we've won this award."
The National Lottery Stars 2014 event was hosted by John Barrowman and Laura Main and televised on BBC One Scotland on Friday (19 September).
