More than 2,000 people have attended a series of public exhibitions regarding the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route/Balmedie-Tipperty scheme.
The events ran from 23 June to 4 July and included details on the route of the scheme, the benefits of the project, progress of advance works and environmental mitigation.
Construction on the project is expected to commence later this year.
A spokesperson for Transport Scotland said: "The response to the AWPR/B-T public exhibitions has been truly remarkable and we've been encouraged by the overriding support for the scheme.
"These exhibitions provided an opportunity for people to remind themselves of the plans for the new road before construction begins later this year.
"The success of these public exhibitions, together with the advance works currently underway, are further evidence of our commitment to deliver the AWPR/ B-T on schedule by Spring 2018."
Last month, the preferred bidder – Connect Roads – was announced for the ambitious scheme. Connect Roads is a consortium consisting of Balfour Beatty, Carillion and Galliford Try (Morrison Construction).
