Proposals to construct a new helicopter hangar at Aberdeen International Airport is to be discussed by Councillors in Aberdeen next week.
The Bond Offshore Helicopter plan outlines building a hangar at the corner of Farburn Terrace and Cordyce View in the city and would be located next to the company's eastern terminal.
The development has been recommended for approval.
If permission is granted, the hangar would have a footprint of 1,955 sq m and would be used to store six helicopters. It would also include changing facilities, a bothy and stores.
In addition, while the site is currently partly-used as a car park for BP offshore employees, the plans plans suggest altering the 21-space car park to instead provide 22 spaces, six taxi spaces and a one-way system.
The application will be discussed by the committee next Thursday (19 June).
