Council homes in the South West Fife area could be set to benefit from an investment of £1.5m.
A report was submitted to the Area Committee earlier this week which outlined plans for improvement. It revealed that a total of 304 different jobs will be undertaken in the next year to deliver a series of improvements, including 109 improved heating systems, 81 new kitchens and 109 new sets of windows and doors.
Commenting on the proposals, Committee Chair, Councillor Bobby Clelland, said: "I'm pleased that so many improvement works will be carried out in the next year, bringing us closer to the target of 100% compliance with the Government's Scottish Housing Quality Standard by 2015.
"The improvements will make real differences for tenants in the South West Fife area and allow us to offer more fit for purpose, comfortable homes."
The work is part of a Fife-wide investment which will see more than £37m spent to continue to carry out maintenance work on homes to bring them up to the Scottish Housing Quality Standard.
