Homes for Scotland has launched its 2014 awards scheme and is now inviting entries for the programme.
The awards celebrate the achievements of Scotland's home building industry.
Focusing on the themes "Driving Recovery" and "Delivery Results", the 2014 Homes for Scotland Awards build upon the success of last year's scheme, which attracted a record number of entries.
Submissions from Homes for Scotland members and key partners are now being welcomed in the following categories:
• Best Employer (sponsored by Ground Developments Ltd)
• Employee of the Year (sponsored by Clancy Docwra)
• Best Customer Service Initiative (sponsored by Forster Energy Ltd)
• Best Partnership in Affordable Housing Delivery (sponsored by PPS Group)
• Best Home Design (sponsored by Burness Paull LLP)
• Best Development – large (26+ units) (sponsored by NHBC)
• Best Development – medium (11-25 units) (sponsored by Gillespie Macandrew LLP)
• Best Development – small (up to 10 units) (sponsored by Close Brothers)
• Best Supporting Company (sponsored by Registers of Scotland).
Winners will be announced at the organisation's Annual Lunch at the EICC on Friday 16 May 2014.
The winner of the headline 'Home Builder of the Year' award will be decided by the independent judging panel which is chaired by Sir Muir Russell, Chairman of the National House Building Council's (NHBC) Scottish Committee.
The recipient of the prestigious Lifetime Achievement award will be chosen by the Homes for Scotland Executive Committee.
Winners of both of these awards will also be announced at the event in May.
Chief Executive Philip Hogg said: "The Homes for Scotland awards address a range of issues high both on our own strategic agenda and those of our stakeholders. They also provide some extremely valuable learning opportunities and this is precisely what sets our scheme apart.
"It is unrivalled in terms of reach and credibility, and in addressing the issues that really matter to the industry's future health such as customer service, design and placemaking."
