More than £1m of improvements is to be made to vacant and derelict land across Dundee, it has been reported.
Dundee City Council has said the work could be undertaken before March 2014.
The Scottish Government has earmarked £1.07m from the Vacant and Derelict Fund and draft proposals for projects have been drawn up.
There are a total of six projects identified within the plan, and include projects in the city centre and to the north of the port.
Commenting on the announcement, Will Dawson, Convener of Dundee City Council's City Development Committee, said: "In the past nine years the city has benefitted to the tune of almost £16m which has helped to remove blight and support new development.
"The fund exists to tackle long term vacant and derelict land, stimulate economic growth/create jobs and improve quality of life.
"There is no question that the money already used in Dundee has met those objectives and this year's cash injection will continue that good work."
The Committee is due to discuss the proposals on 25 November.
