Shepherd Chartered Surveyors has been instructed by Ore Valley Housing Association to let six newly developed retail units on Main Street, Lochgelly.
A busy former mining town in south/mid Fife, Lochgelly is currently undergoing significant regeneration, including a number of new housing developments within the town.
The six new shop units are located on the north most side of Main Street within an established trading position fronting onto a busy main road with on-street car parking close by.
The newly constructed units, completed to a shell standard and with modern glazed frontages, form part of a three storey building with residential flats above. Each unit extends to around 770 sq ft.
John Bankhead, Management Partner at Shepherd, said: "I'm delighted to offer these units to the market on behalf of Ore Valley Housing Association. This new retail development offers an excellent opportunity for in-going tenants to open a new business within an area of Lochgelly that is undergoing extensive residential and environmental regeneration.
"We're hoping to attract a good mix of new local businesses to these attractive units. Indeed, we have received a number of enquiries so far and one of the units has already been reserved by a bakery."
