As one of Scotland's most iconic structures prepares to mark its 45th anniversary this autumn, the Forth Estuary Transport Authority (FETA) is calling for people to share their memories of the Forth Road Bridge.
The authority is keen to talk to people who have had particular connections with the Bridge to feature as 'voices of the bridge' as part of the anniversary activity.
FETA would like to hear from anyone who worked on the construction of the Bridge or who might have a particular memory of the Bridge being built, people who have a story to tell about how life changed after the Bridge opened, interesting memories of the people who have used the Bridge on a regular basis over the past 45 years or any positive experiences about how the Bridge has touched the lives of the people who live with it and use it.
The comments and memories will be kept as part of a valuable archive documenting the living history of the Bridge.
Anyone with memories to share should contact Duncan Fisher at [email protected] or by telephone on 0131 470 3400.
