This will bring the amount of money to be spent on transportation projects in the local area over the next year to £1.18m.
Derek Crowe, Senior Manager Roads & Engineering Services said: "Roads, pavements and street lighting tend to generate a lot of complaints so extra investment to help us improve the transportation network is very welcome.

"Traffic levels are increasing across Fife and there are heavier vehicles on our roads. This money will make a real difference to the quality of our roads and streets."
The additional investment will be spent on resurfacing works on the A915 Standing Stane Road.
Committee originally approved the Levenmouth area transportation works programme 2009/10 in January.
A short series of public consultation events to help shape Fife’s local transport strategy and inform future works programmes will kick off on Thursday 30 April at Levenmouth Community Centre, from 4.00pm-7.00pm.
