Robertson Tayside recently joined Prime Minister Gordon Brown and client Evans Easyspace to perform the topping-out ceremony at the new £3.5m Evans Business Centre in Mr Brown's home town of Kirkcaldy.
Located in the town's John Smith Business Park, the office development is part of a long-term strategy by Fife Council to support local economic development.
When complete it will provide 55 serviced offices, ranging from 160 to 560 sq ft, in a building designed and built to the highest environmental standards.
The PM described the business centre as an excellent example of the public and private sectors working in partnership to develop a facility that will provide the local business community with the support it needs to develop and prosper.
Main contractor Robertson Tayside is one of six regionalised Robertson construction businesses which cover Scotland and north east England.
The business operates throughout Tayside, Angus, Perthshire and Fife offering a highly experienced, local, quality customer focused and personal construction service.
Managing director Bob Gray said: "It is a great honour to join Mr Brown and our project partners to perform this topping-out ceremony.
"We have worked closely with the client and the architects throughout the design stage to develop a building solution that will achieve a 'very good' BREEAM rating for its environmental performance.
"Once complete in April 2009, the office development will offer businesses flexible space and the confidence that they are working in a building which meets high environmental standard"
