Irish electrical contractor, Premier Electrics, has won a major contract for Debenhams.

The company has started electrical work at a new Debenhams store in Livingston, Scotland, involving the installation of some 1,200 spotlights and background lights throughout the store.

The work which also includes the installation of an advanced aspiration fire alarm system is expected to continue until August.

Premier Electrics was established in 1993 and since then has built up a reputation for excellence in the industry thanks to lucrative and ongoing projects with key retailers such as M&S, Debenhams and Primark.

As part of a new marketing strategy, the company has retained a leading design consultancy and PR company and will shortly unveil a fresh new brand image to spearhead the company's continued penetration of the British and European markets.
