East Lothian Housing Association's new website, elha.com, which has been running for 13 weeks, has hit the 10,000 visitor milestone.
Since its launch on April 21, there has been a steady increase in the number of visitors looking at the information on the site and a marked increase in the number of tenants using on-line services.
The milestone has been described by the association as 'a big achievement' as it has opened up a whole new channel of communication between ELHA, tenants and others who use services.
Its online chat facility is gaining in popularity, although the pages visited most frequently by its service users so far are the Mutual Exchange List and Available Properties.
A spokesperson from the Association said: "While many of our visitors find us by using the Google UK search facility, we are seeing an increase in visitors using Google search native to their own country. So far we've been 'googled' by people from Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, The Netherlands and Sweden. This makes us truly international.
"We are delighted that the website is proving to be such a success and we aim to continue to offer a first class service and informational facility to all of our visitors."
