Morgan Ashurst Appoints New MD

Building Developers Morgan Ashurst has appointed Harry Thorburn as managing director for‭ ‬Scotland.

Mr Thoburn,‭ ‬50,‭ ‬joins the company from Bovis Lend Lease‭ ‬Scotland, where he‭ ‬held roles that included managing‭ ‬director of the Scottish‭ ‬businesses and‭ ‬UK‭ ‬head of‭ ‬business‭ ‬improvement.‭

A member of the Chartered Institute of Building,‭ he ‬began his career as a civil engineer with Whatlings and holds a BSc degree in civil engineering from‭ ‬Strathclyde‭ ‬University.

‭He said: "This is an exciting time to be joining Morgan Ashurst and I am very much looking forward to developing our construction activities in Scotland.

‭"Our involvement in a number of key education frameworks and projects in the commercial sector has enabled us to strengthen our presence in these core markets and we are confident of further business growth this year."
