Glasgow City Council has approved the £100m Wyndford Regeneration, enabling the creation of 401 new homes in north Glasgow. The development will replace former multi-storey blocks with a mix of houses and flats, comprising 343 properties for social rent and 58 for mid-market rent.
Designed by ECD Architects, the neighbourhood will be delivered by CCG (Scotland) for Wheatley — one of the UK’s largest housing providers — in partnership with hub West Scotland. The plans also include a new two-storey community centre featuring a café, bookable rooms and additional facilities.
Public realm works will bring green spaces, landscaping, seating and active travel routes across the River Kelvin. Construction is due to begin in spring 2027.
