Clark Contracts has been selected by Fife Council to finish the construction of 97 new social rented homes at Lochgelly Road, Lumphinnans.
Work commenced on site in July 2026. The programme is set to hand over 45 homes by summer 2027, with the remaining 52 scheduled for completion by Autumn 2028.
The scheme is part of Fife Council's ongoing investment in affordable housing and is intended to provide much-needed homes for local residents and families.
Michael Scanlan, Director at Clark Contracts, said "We are pleased to be working with Fife Council to deliver these much-needed affordable homes for the local community. Our team has worked closely with the council to achieve a smooth mobilisation, and we look forward to progressing the development and bringing these high-quality homes to completion."
Clark Contracts, through its dedicated housing division, has extensive experience delivering affordable housing across Scotland and is currently partnering with local authorities and housing associations nationwide to create sustainable, high-quality homes for communities.
Councillor Judy Hamilton, Fife Council Spokesperson for Housing and Building Services, said: "Providing more affordable, high-quality housing is one of Fife Council's top priorities, particularly as we continue to respond to the housing emergency and the increasing demand for housing across our communities.
"The restart of construction at Lumphinnans is particularly welcome. Following the collapse of the original contractor, a huge amount of work has gone into resolving complex issues on site and ensuring the development can move forward.
"These 97 houses will make a real difference to individuals and families who need access to secure warm and safe housing."
