Summer Road Resurfacing And Repairs Under Way Across Aberdeen

Construction News Image

Several major road projects are under way across Aberdeen this summer to replace worn surfaces and repair potholes while conditions are favourable. The capital programme totals about £9,376,000, with a further £190,000 allocated for pothole repairs across the city this financial year.

Aberdeen City Council Co-Leader Councillor Ian Yuill said: "Roadworks are necessary to repair and improve roads.

"Many of the works are scheduled when the weather is better and also when traffic is at its lightest during school holidays, to cause the least amount of disruption. We understand they can be frustrating and ask motorists for their understanding and tolerance while roadworks are going on around Aberdeen."
