A housing development in Kilwinning has earned national recognition as a showcase for how offsite timber frame can accelerate delivery while improving energy performance.

Archerview, Keepmoat's 85-home neighbourhood in Kilwinning, is on the shortlist for Residential Project of the Year at the Offsite Awards 2026.

Deeside Timberframe supplied and erected the timber frame package in partnership with Keepmoat, helping to deliver contemporary three and four-bedroom homes in a well-connected Ayrshire setting.

The Residential Project of the Year category highlights housing schemes that excel in collaboration, energy efficiency, speed and quality of construction, long-term value, and benefits for residents.

Situated less than a mile from Kilwinning town centre and roughly five miles from the Ayrshire coast, Archerview offers modern family living close to shops, schools, health services and transport links. Homes feature energy-saving measures, including roof-mounted solar panels, to help reduce demand for residents.

The shortlisting acknowledges Archerview as a strong example of how collaboration between housebuilders and offsite manufacturers can deliver high-quality, energy-efficient homes with greater certainty over programme.
