BEAR Scotland, acting for Transport Scotland, has scheduled a further four nights of works on the structure near Dingwall, starting on 11 August.

Activity will take place between 7pm and 6am and is expected to conclude by the morning of Saturday 15 August.

Specialist underbridge access vehicles will be used to upgrade the bridge’s cathodic protection system, which helps to prevent corrosion.

Richard Cook, BEAR Scotland’s North West Bridge Manager, said: "Building on previous activity at Cromarty Bridge, our teams are set to return to finalise the works in August.

"We thank road users and the local community for their continued patience while we conclude the works during the evening and overnight periods."
