Transport Scotland's operating company, BEAR Scotland, will renew approximately 900 metres of road surface to deliver smoother and safer journeys for drivers.
A signed diversion will be in place, directing traffic to remain on the M9 northbound to turn at Junction 9, then return southbound to exit via the Junction 7 southbound off-slip. The detour is expected to add around 11 minutes and 11.8 miles to journeys.
Tommy Deans, BEAR Scotland's South-East Network Manager, said: "It is essential for safety that we close this slip road while resurfacing take place.
"We've scheduled the works at night to minimise disruption, however we appreciate that this will cause delays for some people and thank the public in advance for their patience and understanding."
Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times. Emergency services and other stakeholders have been consulted in advance.
