SFHA has warned continued uncertainty over Net Zero standards is holding back the delivery of new social homes.
In an exclusive interview with The Herald newspaper, SFHA Chief Executive Richard Meade said continued uncertainty on the Social Housing Net Zero Heat Standard was impacting housing associations' investment plans.
The Scottish Government originally opened consultation on a proposed new energy standard for social housing from November 2023 to March 2024.
SFHA has said that certainty on standards must be supported with significant and fair funding to ensure costs are not passed onto housing associations or tenants.
