Construction workers from London and Scotland turned out in force as Multiplex staged its annual Walk for Wellbeing in aid of the Lighthouse Charity.
Simultaneous routes in London and Glasgow brought together hundreds of Multiplex employees, colleagues from across the industry and their supply chains. Team members from the Lighthouse Charity also joined, helping to highlight the vital services available to workers and their families. In total, the effort raised over £38,000.
In London, walkers tackled a substantial cross-city route linking key project locations. True to a British spring, the weather ranged from sunshine to rain, but morale stayed high throughout.
Across both cities, the events fostered a strong sense of community and shared purpose. Stepping away from day-to-day roles created space for meaningful conversations, new connections and a collective focus on wellbeing.
The funds will support the Lighthouse Charity's free, confidential services that address the emotional, physical and financial wellbeing of the construction community.
The continuing success of the walks reflects the commitment of Multiplex and its partners, and growing momentum to improve wellbeing across the industry.
