Scottish construction firm The JR Group has completed 17 homes at the Coshneuk Road scheme in Millerston, delivered through a £4.2 million collaboration with North Lanarkshire Council.

The project, the company's first with the council, has turned the old council depot into a new neighbourhood of high-quality, modern and sustainable properties.

The mix includes one- and two-bedroom flats, a range of two-, three- and four-bedroom affordable family houses, and a specially designed accessible bungalow, broadening choice for local households.

To cut energy use and emissions, the homes are equipped with renewable ground source heat pumps, solar panels, triple glazing and enhanced insulation, improving comfort for future tenants.
