SSE has provided £375,000 to support a new shared clubhouse and community hub at Aberfeldy Golf Club, funded through its Griffin and Calliachar Wind Farm Community Investment Fund.

The award, the fund's largest single grant to date, covered both construction and the interior fit-out, replacing the former clubhouse which was no longer fit for purpose.

Built on the footprint of the old building, the facility is intended to serve as a central hub for sport and the wider community, bringing together local clubs that previously lacked a shared space.

Features include modern changing rooms and showers, a bar and restaurant, and a flexible area for events and broader community use.

The project aligns with SSE's continuing commitment to invest in communities near its renewable energy developments, backing facilities that reflect local priorities and deliver long-term benefits.
