Cardo Group has confirmed the acquisition of Faskin Group, a prominent roofing business headquartered in Paisley. The move is set to strengthen Cardo's technical capabilities and expand its workforce across Scotland.
Established in 2010 by Frank and Karen O'Hara, Faskin Group has built a significant reputation within the Scottish construction industry. The firm is recognised for its high levels of repeat business and long-term client partnerships, underpinned by the founders' 50 years of combined industry experience.
The integration of Faskin's specialised local workforce will allow Cardo to provide enhanced roofing services to its national client base. Both Frank and Karen O'Hara will remain at the helm of the business as it transitions into the wider Cardo Group over the next few months.
Liam Bevan, CEO of Cardo Group, welcomed the new addition: "We are pleased to welcome Frank, Karen, and the entire Faskin Group team into Cardo. Their reputation for quality, their hands-on leadership, and their commitment to developing people—especially apprentices—perfectly align with our values.
"Faskin Group's deep expertise and strong market presence in Scotland enhances our national service delivery while supporting our long-term investment in skilled local workforces."
The acquisition also reinforces a shared commitment to vocational training. Faskin Group has a history of investing in the next generation of tradespeople through its apprenticeship programmes.
Frank O'Hara commented on the deal: "Excellence and quality have always been at the centre of Faskin Group. We're proud of the team we've built, the apprentices we've supported, and the strong reputation we've earned for delivering work we stand behind.
"Joining Cardo allows us to build on that foundation—broadening our capabilities, supporting more clients while continuing to invest in the people and standards that Faskin Group is known for."
