BE-ST Strengthens Board With Eight New Industry Leaders

Built Environment – Smarter Transformation (BE-ST) has announced a significant refresh of its board, welcoming eight new key figures from the construction and wider built environment sectors.

The new members bring a wealth of diverse experience across critical areas including retrofit, sustainability, property, energy, and digital innovation, as BE-ST accelerates its mission to lead the sector's just transition to zero carbon.

The new appointees join the existing board members and government observers, providing support, challenge, and strategic direction to the executive team as the organisation moves into its next phase.

Stephen Good, CEO of BE-ST, paid tribute to the departing members and expressed enthusiasm for the future. "Looking to the journey ahead, the team and I are really excited to get to work with and learn from our new board members and see how their expertise and guidance will further our mission," he stated. Mr Good also highlighted the recent achievements of the organisation, which include its rebrand, transition to a long-term national innovation infrastructure asset, and the launch of both the International Retrofit Conference and the Mass Timber Centre of Excellence.
