SEEIT3D Announce The Release Of Sketchup 2026!

This new release will focus on feedback in SketchUp, with new collaboration capabilities in SketchUp for Desktop and Web Viewer.

This release represents a significant step forward in the collaboration journey, focusing on enhancing feedback - a crucial element of the design process. The new collaboration capabilities in SketchUp for Desktop and the Web Viewer streamline the ability for teams to share designs, collect feedback, and iterate more effectively. These improvements are supplemented by secondary enhancements in Documentation, Context, and Visualisation, which together create a more robust ecosystem for communicating design intent and refining 4 models.

The release brings improvements categorised under the following themes:

• Collaboration/ Feedback in SketchUp: in-app commenting, sharing permissions and controls, and real-time viewing.

• Documentation: Improvements to DWG support, drafting tools and new UI framework.

• Context: Scan Essentials updates and new 3D Buildings import with Add Location.

• Visualisation: Ambient Occlusion color and scale updates, Invert Roughness toggle for Photoreal Materials, and new Diffusion version with more precise rendering controls.
