Farrans will host a 'Meet the Buyer' event in Renfrew on Wednesday, 24 September, to find local suppliers for the new AMIDS project in Paisley.
The project, which is being undertaken for Renfrewshire Council, involves the construction of a new 93-metre steel arch bridge, the upgrade of 1.7km of existing road, and the creation of 550m of new road.
The company is particularly keen to speak with new and innovative local suppliers, including micro-enterprises, small to medium-sized enterprises and social enterprises. Potential opportunities for suppliers include providing CCTV cameras, temporary power, archaeological surveys, invasive species surveys, and fencing, along with cleaning services.
Further opportunities will become available as the project progresses, including the supply of concrete and aggregates, piling works, surfacing and concreting.
The event will be held at The Glynhill Hotel in Renfrew from 9am to 12pm. There is no need to register, and interested suppliers can simply attend on the day.
