Gordon Williamson has been appointed as the new Managing Director for Morrison Construction's Building Highland business. Williamson, who started with the company as a Site Manager in 2006, succeeds Donald McLachlan, who is retiring after a 13-year tenure in the role and 22 years with the business.

During his time with the company, Williamson worked on major projects, including the Nucleus Archive building in Caithness, and has been a driving force behind the business's recent success in the distillery sector. Ian Jubb, Divisional Managing Director for Building, praised Williamson's experience and the company's ability to promote from within, highlighting the "depth of talent" in the business. He also thanked McLachlan for his "outstanding contribution" over the years.
