The Supplier Development Programme's (SDP) eighth annual 'Meet the Buyer North' event will take place on Wednesday, 10 September at The Music Hall in Aberdeen, connecting businesses with public and private sector buyers.
The free event is designed to help micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises discover upcoming contracts and opportunities in the north of Scotland. It is partnered by the Scottish Government, Scotland Excel, and the Commercial and Procurement Shared Services.
Confirmed public sector exhibitors include APUC, Historic Environment Scotland, and Police Scotland. Suppliers can also visit a dedicated 'Health Zone', sponsored by NHS National Services Scotland, where they can meet procurement teams from NHS Grampian, NHS Highland, and NHS Tayside to discuss future work.
In addition to public sector buyers, private sector organisations such as Balfour Beatty Construction, hub North Scotland, and Ogilvie Construction will be on hand to discuss supply chain opportunities.
The event will also feature presentations on best-practice procurement from the Supplier Development Programme, Scottish Government, and the Commercial and Procurement Shared Services, which includes Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire, and the Highland Councils.
