A public consultation has been launched to gather views on proposed active travel connections for the new Eden Project Scotland attraction.

The project, a collaboration between Dundee City Council and engineering firm Jacobs, aims to provide safe and attractive routes for people to walk, wheel, or cycle to the site.

With car parking on-site limited to disabled bays, the goal is to promote active travel as the main choice for visitors. The consultation is focused on developing routes between the Eden site and Dundee City Centre, the proposed Arbroath Road Sustainable Transport Corridor, and the Olympia Car Park.

People can view the proposals and provide their feedback online. Additionally, drop-in sessions will be held at Olympia on Wednesday, 20 August, and Saturday, 23 August, for people to give their views in person.

City council Fair Work, Economic Growth and Infrastructure convener, Councillor Steven Rome, said the concepts show how seriously the council is taking its responsibilities to plan ahead and make a "strong statement about our support for the project's vision." He urged as many people as possible to engage with the consultation.
