The Construction Plant-hire Association (CPA) is set to host a brand-new flagship event, the CPA Gala Dinner 2025, a prestigious black-tie affair designed to celebrate the plant-hire sector.

The inaugural dinner will take place at the architecturally stunning St George's Hall in Liverpool on Thursday, 6 November 2025.

St George's Hall, a Grade I listed building renowned as one of the finest neoclassical structures globally, has previously served as a backdrop for numerous films and TV series, including Peaky Blinders and The War of the Worlds.

The CPA Gala Dinner promises an unforgettable evening of fine dining, featuring a three-course menu prepared by 5-star Michelin experienced chefs, alongside legendary speakers and industry celebration. Standard tables for 11 guests are now available for booking online at www.cpa.uk.net/events/cpa-gala-dinner-2025 at a cost of £3,000 plus VAT.

Steve Mulholland, CPA Chief Executive Officer, expressed his enthusiasm: "We thought it was fitting to get everyone together to celebrate what a wonderful industry we work in. There have been testing times for the sector over the last few years, and the Gala Dinner will allow us all to enjoy an evening of great company and excellent food in the stunning surroundings of St George's Hall in the heart of Liverpool."

The event offers a prime networking opportunity for CPA members, industry colleagues, the CPA Council, and the CPA team, with celebrity guests and professional photographers on hand to capture the evening.

Peter Haddock of Content With Media, a well-known plant-hire content creator and journalist, will serve as the Master of Ceremonies. Following dinner, guests will be entertained by two renowned after-dinner speakers: former professional football player and Liverpool FC legend John Barnes, and popular comedian Bobby Davro.

In addition to standard table packages, various sponsorship opportunities are available, including Headline Sponsor, Drinks Reception Sponsor, and Platinum and Gold Sponsors. These packages offer premium table positions, with options for guests to be seated at the same table as a celebrity speaker or to have their company logo projected onto the spectacular ceiling of St George's Hall.
