Lomond Plant, a leading plant hire company based in Falkirk, has announced a substantial investment in its equipment fleet with the delivery of 130 new JCB machines from long-standing partner Scot JCB.

This landmark deal not only underscores a three-decade-long collaborative relationship but also highlights a palpable return of confidence in the UK construction market.

Ross Easton, Joint Managing Director at Lomond Plant, described the period as the "best start to the year since pre-COVID," marking a significant milestone for the company's future growth strategy. "The market seems to be stabilising. Interest rates are coming down, and there are early signs of confidence returning to the construction sector," said Mr Easton.
