Mac Mic Group Announces Key Senior Leadership Promotions

Mac Mic Group has announced two significant promotions within its senior leadership team as part of its ongoing growth and strategic evolution. The appointments coincide with the company's centenary year.

Brian Dick has been appointed Managing Director of Mac Mic Group. Having joined the company in 2012 as a Management Accountant, Dick has been central to its expansion over the past 13 years. He moved into the Investment Team, where he spearheaded the creation and development of a new business unit, leading to his promotion to Head of Investments in 2023.

"It's a real honour to step into the role of Managing Director at such a well-established and forward-focused business," Brian Dick said. "Having grown with Mac Mic Group over the past decade, I'm proud to help lead the next phase — building on our legacy and embracing new opportunities."

Dick has played a crucial role in several major transactions, including the landmark Springfield deal, a significant moment in the Group's strategic growth. He also serves on the board of iOPT, contributing to broader Group strategy and innovation.

Andrew Mickel, Group Director, commented on Dick's promotion: "Brian's promotion is a testament not only to his sharp commercial acumen, but also to the trust and respect he has earned across the Group. His calm, considered leadership and deep understanding of our business make this a natural and well-earned progression. As we celebrate our Centenary year, it feels especially fitting to appoint someone who understands both the legacy we've built and the path ahead. Brian's ability to lead with confidence, clarity, and insight positions him perfectly to guide Mac Mic Group into its next chapter."

Mac Mic Group has also confirmed the promotion of Jacqueline Primrose to Head of PRS (Private Rented Sector).

Since joining the business in 2012, Primrose has progressed through various finance roles, most recently serving as Assistant Management Accountant. Over the past year, she has taken on increasing responsibility for PRS operations, working closely with senior leadership to develop this rapidly expanding area of the business.

"Having been part of Mac Mic Group for over a decade, it's incredibly rewarding to take on this role," Jacqueline Primrose stated. "The PRS side of the business is fast-moving and full of opportunity, and I'm excited to keep building on the strong foundations we've created."

Primrose's promotion reflects her deep operational expertise, strong understanding of the business, and her instrumental role in shaping the Group's long-term PRS strategy.

Ross Mickel, Group Director, praised Primrose's new appointment: "Jacqueline's journey at Mac Mic Group is a great example of the talent and dedication we're proud to nurture. She brings real insight and a practical, forward-thinking approach to our PRS portfolio, and we're excited to see her take it to the next level."
