Scottish Water will begin the second phase of essential sewer repair works in Rosebery Crescent, Edinburgh, on Monday 20th January 2024.
This phase of the project involves repairing a damaged 450mm sewer pipe following the successful completion of upgrades to the waste water infrastructure at the end of last year.
To ensure the safety of both the public and workers, a section of Rosebery Crescent will be temporarily closed. The closure will move northwards as the project progresses.
Clear diversion routes will be in place, and pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the repair work. Vehicle access to Rosebery Crescent Lane will also remain open to ensure businesses and car parks continue to operate as normal.
Scottish Water will work to minimise disruption to residents and businesses during these essential works.
A spokesperson for Scottish Water said: "These works are vital to ensure the continued reliability of the local waste water network.
"We appreciate the community's patience and understanding as we complete this necessary work as safely and efficiently as possible."
