Essential drainage repairs and road resurfacing will commence today on the A826 Pitillie, approximately 2 miles south of Aberfeldy, for a potential three-week period, Perth and Kinross Council has announced.

Due to the works, a road closure will be in place from 9am to 3.30pm on weekdays only, with no weekend working.

Diversion routes for southbound and northbound traffic are:

• Southbound traffic: A826 - A827 - Ballinluig - (A9 south) - Bankfoot Interchange - B867 - (A9 north) - A822 – A826.

• Northbound traffic: A826 - A822 - (A9 north) - A827 - Aberfeldy - A826.

Access for pedestrians and emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout.

On waste collection days, residents should present their bins as normal, as collections have been arranged to take place outside the closure times.
