Transport Scotland will continue its investment in the trunk road network with 26 resurfacing schemes planned in the South East of the country for the final quarter of the year.
Road closures will be required to carry out these works safely, however, they will be scheduled at night wherever possible to minimise disruption.
A full list, including provisional dates, can be found here.
There has also been updates supplied of ongoing projects, including on the South East unit's bridges, where major works at Longacre Bridge east of M8 Junction 6 are due to conclude in October, requiring weekend restrictions.
Strengthening works on the bridge carrying the M90 southbound over the B9080 at Kirkliston are expected to be complete by the end of December, and the ongoing project to refurbish Westwater Bridge on the A702 will continue until later in the year.
The new Kincardine Bridge's Southern Piled Viaduct is due to open to traffic for the first time in November as part of the project to replace the existing one.
Work to replace the architectural lighting on the Queensferry Crossing will also continue into November.
Several maintenance projects are under way on the Forth Road Bridge, however, these are not expected to cause any significant disruption to road users.
