Repairs to barriers damaged in a recent collision will lead to lane restrictions on the Tay Road Bridge in Dundee later this month, affecting drivers in both directions.

Starting on 28 October, the bridge will remain open, but lane closures will occur one direction at a time. Initially, one southbound lane toward Fife will be closed, followed by a northbound lane. The restrictions are expected to last for about ten days.

To reduce the impact on traffic, most of the work will be carried out during off-peak hours or overnight. Warning signs and a temporary speed limit will be enforced to ensure safety during the repair period.
