Resurfacing Work To Start On Northbound Carriageway Of Straiton Road

Midlothian Council has announced that the northbound carriageway of Straiton Road in Loanhead is to close for resurfacing works from Monday, 29 July.

The road is expected to be closed for two weeks from 6pm to 6am.

The road will be closed in two phases:

Phase 1: from the roundabout on Straiton Road (next to Sainsbury's) to the junction into Straiton Park and Ride

Phase 2: from its junction with Straiton Park and Ride to the roundabout where it joins with A720 bypass

Alternative routes for motorists will be via Nivensknowe Road, Herd Terrace, The Loan and B702 and vice versa.
