CCG has won the inaugural 'ESG Refurbishment of the Year' award at the Scottish Property Awards 2024.
The Paisley Learning and Cultural Hub is now the official residence of the Paisley Central Library. It was constructed to provide a digitally connected and modern learning environment for everyone.
Designed by Collective Architecture and delivered by CCG on behalf of the Council and hub West Scotland, the new facility is part of a much bigger programme of investment in the town that has also included Paisley Town Hall, Museum and an extension to Paisley Art Centre.
The project involved the complete renovation of a previous shop unit by CCG over four floors, with a modern High Street frontage. The ground floor consists of a reception area, a children's library, and a storytelling area, with an exceptional play structure featuring designs by the renowned Scottish artist, Claire Barclay.
