Forestry and Land (FLS) has called for input on the development of long-term plans for the forests and lands in and around Port of Monteith, Buchlyvie and Gartmore.
The consultation is part of the normal ten-year review of FLS' Land Management Plan (LMP) for the area.
The Forth Mosses LMP combines the management of the existing Flanders Moss forest plan, as well as the Cardross forest area, which is not currently covered by a formal approved LMP, into a single new 10-year plan.
Stewart Towers, Planning and Projects Manager for FLS, said: "Forestry management is a long-term activity so part of this review is about the future management of the site, including the important SSSI at Flanders Moss.
"We're also looking at carrying out further area of peatland restoration as part of the plan.
"We know that local residents usually have a strong connection with their local woodlands, so we're inviting everyone with an interest to have a look at the plans and provide us with some feedback."
