Morrison Community Care (CCG) Holdco has announced the successful completion of Dalgety Bay Care Home, a new purpose-built luxury care home facility in Fife.
Dalgety Bay Care Home has been developed by a joint venture company between a leading care developer and construction and manufacturing group CCG (Scotland).
The purpose-built care home development will offer 24/7 residential, nursing and dementia care to people over the age of sixty-five and will provide en-suite rooms alongside a range of integrated amenities such as a hair salon, a champagne bar, private dining, a cinema, private gardens and a putting green.
Residents will benefit from a care home design that focuses on comfort and wellbeing with expert service delivered by a recognised, National Operator.
Morrison Community Care has owned and operated care facilities in Scotland since 1989. The business has since evolved to become a care home developer, managing the delivery process entirely from land acquisition to completion on behalf of other operators.
A number of developments are on-site across the UK; in Scotland, the company exclusively works with CCG, one of the country’s largest privately-owned construction and manufacturing groups, as part of an innovative joint venture company which has delivered over 150 beds since 2021.
Morrison Community Care Managing Director, Paul Sokhi, said:
"With an ageing population, a lack of family carers, and an overstretched NHS, the demand has never been greater for modern, purpose-built residential care facilities, with strong infection control design, for older people in the UK and Ireland.
"Our years of operational experience have given us the expertise to develop new care homes, focusing on design, technology, and sustainability, to improve the lives of older people and make a positive contribution to local communities now and in the future."
David Wylie, Managing Director of CCG (Scotland), added: "Dalgety Bay Care Home is a fantastic addition to this east coast community and the wider region of Fife. Delivered in partnership with Holmes Miller architects and our hugely diligent design team, it will offer future residents an unmatched level of comfort as well as a leading standard of specialist care. Its completion is yet another significant milestone for Morrison Community Care (CCG) Holdco and with more developments under construction and in the pipeline, we look forward to supporting more communities across the breadth of the country for many years to come."
Morrison Community Care (CCG) Holdco is currently on-site on a further two developments located in Almondside in Livingston and Perth.
The firms also recently submitted plans for a mixed-use development in Linlithgow. If granted approval, the development, located on Edinburgh Road in the buoyant town centre, will deliver 60 beds as well as 20 apartments available for private sale from 2025.
